Skills :
- Graduate of any 4 year or 5 year course, preferably Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communications or IT equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 month to 6 years working experience, preferably in the network engineering/ telecommunications industry and/or alternative industry, in an operations/technical support capacity/position.
- Skilled in Cisco (IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR), Juniper (JUNOS), Nortel, Adtran (AOS), Riverbed and Aruba platforms.
- Must possess a solid understanding of Network Industry concepts (including WAN, LAN, WLAN).
- Experience supporting Enterprise class Routers, Switches in a Global Network Environment.
- Working knowledge in Routing Protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, RIP and Static) and Redistribution.
- Experienced in configuration of DNS, VRRP, HSRP, Load Sharing, Zone Based Firewall, Policy Based Routing, Access Control Lists, VLAN, WLAN, NAT, PPPoE.
- In-depth knowledge of QOS, MQOS, Queuing, Policing, Shaping, Marking etc on Cisco and Juniper platforms.
- Experience and knowledge of Network Management Technologies (AAA, SNMP, FTP, SCP, telnet, SSH, NTP, Netflow, Syslog, Monitoring applications, etc.)
- Working experience in MBGP, VRFs, VRF-Lite, and MPLS VPNs.
- Experience supporting IPVPN, DMVPN, EZVPN, and GETVPN Designs.
- Experience supporting Aruba and Cisco WLAN Controllers and Access Points.
- Experience supporting Cisco and Riverbed WAN Optimization.
- Working knowledge of Protocols (TCP/IP, ATM. Private IP, GRE / IPSEC, Frame Relay, Multilink Frame Relay)
- Skilled in Telecommunications Transport Systems(DSL, DS1, DS3, Optical Services, Ethernet)
- Understanding of ITIL model and experience working in an ITIL environment.
- HTML, Wiki, and technical writing skills for known issue documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong Analytical and Problem Solving skills.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Fluent communication skills in English, verbal and written; skilled in process diagrams, process-flow diagrams and detailed job documentations
- Strong Customer Service skills and the ability to interface successfully with both the customers technical and non-technical contacts, involved in the delivery of service.
- Results-focused/oriented.
- Team player with a strong sense of responsibility towards own work.
Salary : INR 2,75,000 - 6,50,000 P.A
