- Test plan and test case development experience
- Defect detection, detailing, and management knowledge
- Scripting skills in a recognized test language, e.g. WebDriver
- Moderate Java or equivalent code experience
- Basic MySQL or equivalent knowledge
- Basic understanding of CLI, IDE and web environments
- Non-functional (performance, security) testing
- Written and verbal communication skills
Job Description:
- Create test plans and specifications for release versions of Zanata software
- Develop functional and unit tests
- Carry out manual acceptance tests and deliver reports for releases
- Verify contributions to the source code through functional testing
- Conduct exploratory "best judgment" testing
- Record defects for development
- Manage defects through the defect cycle
- Provide test and debug assistance to developers when required
