Job Description :
- Proactive up-skilling in Dev Ops technologies.
- The detailed technical skills required for aspects of the job are as follows:-
- Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Cruise Control, TFS, Team City
- Build automation tools such as Nant, CAKE, PSAKE, Maven
- Knowledge of Design Patterns and Object Oriented Development
- Automated deployments / Rollbacks
- Agile Software Engineering Practices (including TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration & Automated Build processes)
- Unix/Solaris Shell Scripting (Korn, Bourne or Bash) with optional Perl, PowerShell
- Source Control solutions such as SVN, TFS, GIT
- Load / Performance testing tools such as JMeter
- Application monitoring and Health monitoring
- The essential technical skills required for this role are a working knowledge of C#, .NET, PL/SQL, Oracle and UNIX.
