Engineer
Qualifications:
- Graduate/ Post Graduate in Computer Science with at least 60% throughout.
- 0-3 years IT experience.
- Experience of developing web applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, XML and web technologies.
Exposure/expertise in at least some of the following is highly desirable:
- Hibernate (or any JPA 2 compliant ORM)
- Servlets, JSP and Tags (Tomcat or other servlet engine)
- JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, YUI)
- Miscellaneous technologies like Web services, AJAX, CSS, JMX, etc.
- Good experience with Unit Testing processes and automation tools (JUnit, Selenium).
- Exp. in Object-oriented analysis, design and programming, database modeling, etc.
- Exposure to database techniques/tools such as Oracle, SQL, etc.
- Exposure to Agile/ SCRUM methodology and TDD (Test Driven Development).
- Candidate must be a team player and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design and development of web-based business applications.
- Development of software products using modeling techniques, design patterns and software best practices.
- Work with the team to troubleshoot issues and improve upon the development/debug techniques.
