Company Profile :
Swiggy is an Indian online food ordering and delivery platform cofounded by Sriharsha Majety, Nandan Reddy and Rahul Jaimini in August 2014. The company is registered in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh as Bundl Technologies.
Swiggy has received several rounds of funding from several partnering investors. As of September 2015, they have raised close to USD 20 million from venture capitalists SAIF partners, Accel Partners, Norwest Venture Partners and an undisclosed global entity.
Swiggy was founded in 2014 by Sriharsha Majety, Nandan Reddy and Rahul Jaimini. Sriharsha (ex IIM-Calcutta) and Nandan are both alumnus of BITS Pilani while Rahul Jaimini is an alumnus of IIT-Kharagpur. They had previously worked on a different logistics platform called Bundl, which was eventually shut down due to unforeseen circumstances. Swiggy currently employs more than 300 people and is headquartered in Bengaluru, India.
