Good Communication Skills
Experience Level:
-Minimum of 8-10 years expertise in testing NMS or EMS products
-Expertise in Test Automation using Java and Ruby (prefer) / GUI based tools
-Minimum 2-3 years of experience planning and detailed estimation of features in NMS applications
-Experience working with networking technologies and protocols such as MPLS, L2/L3, IPRAN, IPV6
-Experience working in a fast paced Agile development environment with strong practices of Agile methodologies
-Networking background demonstrated by Cisco certifications and lab building/maintaining experience is a plus.
-Working knowledge of router technologies and configuration is a plus
-Experience in simulating devices and traffic using tools like Simple Agent Pro is a plus.
-Experience in advanced domains such as Carrier Ethernet, mobile wireless is an added plus.
Job Description :
- Leading the authoring of Test Strategy and Detailed Test Plans for E2E testing of NMS platforms with variety of network devices.
- •Having a deep working knowledge of networking technologies and protocols and using this to help team define test strategy.
- •Working closely with test managers to perform detailed estimation and planning of test activities for releases
- •Building scale tests that quickly exercise the application under test to and past its limits.
- •Building load tests for both typical and atypical loads.
- •Integrating developer and test team created tests into a streamlined coherent system.
- •Designing, building, deploying and supporting test infrastructures with automatic installations, test executions and built-in logging and reporting functions.
- .Proven ability to collaborate with developers to obtain required information so that test code is developed in parallel with the application under test.
