Role Description
- Participate actively in internal discussions. Take complete ownership of Data Custodian role.
- Understand product and marketing goals and objectives and translate these into reports.
- Write code (queries/procedures) in SQL that is both functional and elegant, following appropriate design patterns.
- Debug, monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions.
- Keep a check on Data Integrity and Consistency.
- Assess internal and external databases to identify data sources.
- Continuously apply automation techniques to improve Report Turnaround Times.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of SQL.
- In-depth knowledge of Datawarehousing and Datamarts concepts.
- Hands-on experience on ETL.
- Good understanding of Big Data related technologies like HDFS, Hadoop,HIVE etc.
- Familiarity with Linux and at least one of scripting languages Shell,Perl or python.
- Excellent Analytical Knowledge.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Smart, motivated and team oriented.
- Excellent technical communication skills in both written and spoken English.
