Responsibilities:
- Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming language and technologies.
- Completes or assists with documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
- May interface with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
- Solves problems, addresses equipment capability, and limitations, operating time and form of customer desired results.
- Plan, design, build, test, grow, support and frequently refine new products and services.
- Own the responsibility of what you build, managing the entire product lifecycle.
- Cover a wide variety of coding challenges throughout the stack and contribute to all parts of our code base.
- Be a team player in a small, flat-structured, highly collaborative environment.
- Conduct Daily Review Meetings with team members.
- Conduct code reviews of fellow team members.
- Conduct sprint review meetings.
- Decide GIT Branching Strategies in collaborative development environment.
- Conduct deployments in test/staging/production environments (this requires extensive knowledge in using GIT branching and merging of code submitted by self and team members to make it deployment ready).
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Deep knowledge of iOS API’s including UIKit, NotificationCenter, CoreImage/Audio/Video, AVKit, and CloudKit.
- Expert with Objective-C.
- Experience with Swift (preferably 2, of course).
- 3+ years iOS development experience.
- Experience in API design.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as XCTest and the like.
- Experience with acceptance testing frameworks such as KIF.
- Experience with continuous deployment technologies and practices.
