Designation : Associate Software Engineer
Criteria : B.E,B.Tech
Detailed Eligibility:
- Should be a graduate in ECE or CSE or IT
- Should have an experience of 6 months 1.5 years in software industry
- Should be currently working with some reputed Service based or product based IT companies
- Should be willing to master new technologies quickly
- Basic idea about software life cycle
- Good knowledge in Networking
- Good understanding of OSI & TCP/IP layer structure
- Basic knowledge in Unix/Linux
- Optionally basic knowledge in scripting languages
- Good knowledge in programming concepts
- Good knowledge in OS concepts
- Good analytical, debugging and communication skills
- Optionally basic knowledge in scripting languages (python, shell scripting, ruby)
- Optionally basic knowledge in continues delivery framework (Jenkins, Vagrant, Chef)
- Basic knowledge in RDBMS (MS SQL / Oracle 11,12g / PostgreSQL / DB2)
Job Description :
- Analyzing the product requirements
- Review of Functional Specifications and other input documents towards test planning
- Develop test plans, test environment and test scenarios for new product features
- Provide estimations of work effort for test execution
- Testing of the various components of the product at a feature level as well as at a integrated system level
- Debugging and astute reporting of aberration observed during the testing from the expected results
- Review of product documentation
- Interface with other teams like engineering, technical publications, tech support and provide inputs with respect to system behavior during testing
- Perform RCA for Customer reported defects and coming up with measures to stop such defect escapes in future releases
- Automate test cases to improve test efficiency
- Become source of innovative features/solutions to enhance our core business
