Skills :
- Good Communication Skills
- Basic Programming skills in at least 3 languages of C, C++, Java, Matlab, .NET, Qt, Perl, Python etc.
- Experience with Eclipse and/or Microsoft Visual studio IDE
- Familiar with CAD systems NX, AUTOCAD, CATIA
- Good team work, communicate effectively with team members on the progress and obstacles faced.
Job Description :
- Intern in ST Automation team of Steam Turbine and Generator Engineering(STaGE) will support CAD and Physics based design tools for Steam Path Components focusing on engineering productivity, quality, on time delivery, product cycle & cost reduction.
- Work effectively on an assigned project in the field of Steam Turbine engineering tools development.
- Work closely with the design community to identify business needs, create a problem statement, & develop functional specifications.
- Work closely with an identified mentor on an allocated project, make presentations.
- Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with organization policies and procedures.
- Working towards Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering
