 Job Description :

 The role of the Interns/Junior Associates is to carry out simple substantive and controls-based audit testing for the Assurance multinational clients. Clients are primarily based in the MENA. Key challenges for the role are to provide high quality results to the onshore team, often to a tight deadline.

 Client responsibilities :
  • Assist in the execution of simple audit tasks, such as testing of arithmetical accuracy of financial statements, Tie the FS captions with the notes etc.
  • Assist account teams with risk management issues for audit including support on engagement letters, client acceptance and Third party confirmations;
  • Assist onshore engagement teams in setting up/archiving the audit files using EY tools
  • Assist the assurance senior on simple audit tasks including monitoring the confirmation procedures and other administrative tasks involved in an audit.
  • Understand how to operate effectively in a regulated environment
People responsibilities :
  • Should be a good team player.
  • Should have good analytical skills to understand the client needs.
  • Should come up with innovative and smart ways of doing work, without compromising on quality
