Detailed Eligibility:
- BE/B.Tech or equivalent Degree / 3 yr Diploma course in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Telecommunication or Electronics or Electronics & Electrical or any other combination of subjects where Electronics is one of the subjects like Electronics & Instrumentation; or Computer Science; or Information Technology. OR
- B.Sc (Phy./Chem/ Maths/IT/CS/ Electronics) & MCA OR iii) BCA & MCA. Min. of 2-4 years of experience in IT Applications:
- Age Limit: 21-32 Yrs

RailTel Recruitment 2017-Selection Procedure:
- The selection process shall involve an Aptitude Test (MCQ type) of 2 hours duration followed by interview of candidates shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in written examination. The written examination and interview shall be of maximum 100 and 50 marks respectively.
- The written examination will be conducted at Delhi and Hyderabad. RailTel, for administrative reasons, however, reserves the right to direct the candidate to appear for written test at any other city.

- RDBMS : Oracle 10g / 11g, MYSQL
- Scripting Language : AJAX, JQuery, JavaScript
- Web Technologies : JSP, Servlets, HTML,
- Webservices: SOAP and Restful based webservices
- Framework : Struts, Spring, Hibernate, EJB
- IDE/Tools : Eclipse, MyEclipse, Toad for Oracle, SQL Developer
- Web & Application Servers : Weblogic , Tomcat, Jboss, Glassfish, Wamp
- Other Tools : SVN,JIRA, VSS, CVS, Ant, Git, Putty, Maven
.Net
- Should be strong in OOPS concepts VB.net, C#.net, Collections, Generics.
- Should have experience in Web Technologies ASP.net (Web Forms, MVC), JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.
- Should have experience in ADO.NET and any OR mapping engines (NHibernate).
- Should have knowledge on any one of web frameworks and Persistence framework.
- Ability to develop Web services and WCF to expose and consume.
- Should have experience on IIS.
- Ability to write build/configuration scripts using Build tools (Ant, MS Build), MSI creation.
- Should have experience on various design patterns & Dot NET patterns
- Should have knowledge on UML (Class, Sequence, Domain Model)
- Strong knowledge on RDBM concepts. Ability to Write SQL with complex joins,
- Stored Procedures and should be able to use database functions. Use of SQL Server.
- Should have knowledge on Configuration Tools (TFS, CVS).Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose
- of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the IT infrastructure.
